You and your kids will have TWO ways of getting into the Valentine’s Day spirit during Parkside’s Second Annual Valentine’s Bake Sale and Kiss-A-Grams Sale. Parkside students can purchase valentines to be delivered to the special people in their lives: classmates, reading buddies, teachers, therapists, etc. And if you want to buy some for non-Parkside family and friends, that’s ok, too! We can send them home in Backpack Express.

The cards will be designed in art class, and the PA will add some small surprise gifts to each child’s Valentine’s Day bag before delivering them. Each valentine will be $1 with the money going to Parkside. Look out for the order form in Backpack Express next week. DEADLINE TO ORDER VALENTINES: JANUARY 31. ANYONE WHO ORDERS AFTER THIS WILL HAVE TO PAY $1.50 PER VALENTINE. ABSOLUTE CUT-OFF TO ORDER IS FEBRUARY 10.

Secondly, we will be having a Valentine’s Day Bake Sale in the Parkside lobby during drop-off and pick up on February 14, so parents can buy goodies for family and co-workers. Children’s classes will also be visiting the bake sale, so if you would like your child to participate, we ask that you send in money for an in-school treat (forms to come). Items will sell for a range of $1-3.
